Scope
This policy explains how New York Empire Trades Inc. (“the company”, “we”) handles personal information collected through newyorkempiretrades.com, and information sent to the company by email or phone. Where the company supplies an organization under a written order or contract, that agreement may contain further terms on the handling of information.
Information you provide
The website has no forms and no accounts. The company receives only what you choose to send by email or share by phone: contact details such as your name and organization; documents such as specification sheets, line item lists, spreadsheets, and photographs; and the vendor setup forms your organization asks the company to complete.
Please do not send passwords, banking or card details, tax identification numbers, or other sensitive identifiers by email.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting and security. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request, to deliver and protect the site.
- Fonts. The website’s typefaces are served by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests them from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which receive your IP address and browser details.
- Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures overall traffic: page views, referring sites, browser and device type, country, and page load performance. Cloudflare designs this service to measure visits without cookies or local storage and without building profiles of individual visitors. The company sees aggregate reports only and uses them to maintain and improve the website.

How information is used
- To respond to inquiries and requests for vendor documents.
- To prepare quotes and coordinate the orders and deliveries your organization requests.
- To complete vendor setup and registration with your organization.
- To keep business records and meet tax, accounting, and public procurement recordkeeping obligations.
- To protect the website, the company, and the organizations it works with from spam, fraud, and abuse.
Information you send is not used for unrelated marketing.
No sale of personal information
The company does not sell personal information, does not share it for targeted advertising, and does not rent or trade contact lists.
How long information is kept
- Email. Kept as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of business correspondence, then deleted when no longer needed.
- Orders and vendor setup. Records related to quotes, orders, invoices, and vendor registration are kept for as long as tax, accounting, and procurement recordkeeping requirements apply.
- Analytics and security data. Retained by Cloudflare under its own retention practices. Analytics reports are aggregate.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS with security headers. Access to company email is restricted. No website, email service, or transmission method is completely secure.
If you receive a message in the company’s name asking you to change its payment or remittance details, or to sign in to an outside portal, confirm it by calling (917) 565-0972 before acting on it.
Privacy requests
You may ask the company to:
- tell you what personal information it holds about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete your information, except records the company must keep for orders, tax, accounting, or legal reasons;
- stop contacting you.

Children
This website is intended for business and public sector buyers. It is not directed to children under 13, and the company does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
